Ibex Website Lover Of Life, Singer Of Songs Freddie Mercury was the one rock star mentioned in singer Kurt Cobain’s alleged suicide note (1994): "I havent felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music along with reading and writing for too many years now. I feel guilty beyond words about these things. For example, when we’re backstage and the lights go out and the manic roar of the crowds begins, it doesn't affect me the way in which it did for Freddy [sic] Mercury who seemed to love, relish in the love and adoration from the crowd, which is something I totally admire and envy.

American Idol 6: Episode 2

Its Indians who are making all of us proud on American Idol 6. Episode 2 saw auditions in Seattle , one of the least favourites of the judges, thanks to one of the craziest, crappiest, dumbest and most squeakiest of the contestants. It really takes ears of iron to be an American Idol Jury member , I must say. But I am no longer talking of the verbal abuses of Simon, or the Yo-Dawwg of Randy. I am here to talk about the Indian-origin Siblings, Shyamali and Sanjaya who nailed it in the auditions. Shyamali thinks she's better than her bro, and she went in first. The judges liked her a lot as she rendered the jazz classic,Summer time. She got through to the next round. Paula and Randy were really impressed. Next came in Sanjaya and Randy asked him , " Do you think you are better than your Sis?". He answered,"I don't think so". But well , it came to the picture that Sanjaya was a big Stevie Wander fan, and that surely got more than just reflected in his audition round performance. He really took Simon by surprise and Simon surprisingly commented, " Your sister has a better personality, but you got the better voice". Well, oh well, the pair really rocked, individually. Both of them got the golden ticket to Hollywood and they both rejoiced. Ryan did ask Sanjaya whom did the judges think was better between the two. Sanjaya refused to answer it. Well, I guess Shyamali got to know the answer. God bless the internet. I manage to dig out the Myspace pages of Sanjaya and Shyamali. They are listed below.
Sanjaya's page:
Shyamali's page:

Boy, internet is reaaallly incredible. They already have a fan-following on myspace and people have already started commenting of them being in the Top-12. I have my fingers crossed.

American Idol 6:

Why do they show more of the crap rather than show more of who got selected, how and why? Last night, was the 2 hr season premiere of American Idol and the auditions kicked off in the home town of Prince, Minneapolis. Of the 10,000 people who auditioned there, only 17 qualified for the Hollywood Round. The jury besides the usual Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, also included guest jury member, Country Singer Jewel. But the point is, among the 17 selected for the next round, we only got to witness the selection of mere 4 or may b 5. What happened to the others? We were overtly subjected to the histrionics of Simon and new to this season, Randy was so damn rude!!!! Simon's comments have become utterly repetitive, and the IQ levels of the auditioning participants have hit an all time low. I mean, c'mon for God's sake, who comes to an American Idol audition dressed in a red boxing suit with the gloves on, or for that matter show off ur tap-dancing skills along with juggling sticks. Wake up......
